Icarus out now on All About Jazz - new single and music video premiere
Icarus -the lead single and music video from Emily Kuhn’s new album Feathered Things - is out today! The intimate retelling of the classic myth features Meghan Stagl on vocals. The dream-like video by Sean Pierce features aerial artist Hayley Larson in the role of the reckless, whimsical main character, alongside an ensemble of shadow puppets and reflections. The video is available exclusively at All About Jazz and the song is available on Bandcamp or wherever you get your music!

Following the acclaimed Ghosts of Us (2023), the record finds Kuhn and her bandmates pushing their sound into new territory while deepening the collective musical voice that has defined the group since its formation.
Chicago-based trumpeter Emily Kuhn has made a name for herself as a dynamic bandleader, trumpeter, composer, and educator, with festival appearances and teaching engagements across the country. Her upcoming album, Feathered Things, is out on July 24 via Desafío Candente Records.
